Can You Beat Halo Infinite in Under 8 Hours?
Yes! It is totally possible to beat Halo Infinite in under 8 hours. Nonetheless, remember that, on average, you will need between 8 and 12 hours to fully Beat Halo Infinite. This time can increase up to 18 hours or more if you are a completionist.
So, although it is possible to complete the main story of this game in under 8 hours, it won’t be as easy as you think.
In fact, if you go unprepared, you will hardly complete the campaign in under 8 hours in your first playthrough. Therefore, this requires some skills and previous preparation that we are going to show you how to manage.
How Long Will it Take to Beat Halo Infinite’s Campaign?
Normally, the Halo Infinite campaign will take you between 10 and 12 hours to complete all the missions. This playtime is based on a normal playthrough, not a rushed one, or a slow one.
Besides, it might be more difficult if you select to play on Heroic or Legendary – we made this analysis based on the Normal game difficulty mode.
What Happens if You Beat Halo Infinite Campaign in Under 8 Hours?
If you beat the Halo Infinite campaign in under 8 hours, you will get one of the hardest achievements in this Xbox-exclusive game: Forza Veloce.
Forza Veloce is an achievement that can only be obtained if you have beaten the campaign in less than 8 hours. It is the major reward for achieving this milestone, so it won’t be as straightforward to get as you believe – you will require some skills, or, some tips!
All in all, if you are more of a multiplayer player than a campaign enjoyer, you can check How to Play Oddball in Halo Infinite here.
How to Get Forza Veloce Achievement in Halo Infinite
The Forza Veloce achievement can only be obtained if you complete the Halo Infinite main campaign in under 8 hours.
Although Halo Infinite did not have a cooperative mode for almost one year, it now has one, which means that you can complete Forza Veloce with your friends if you please.
The problem is that beating the campaign in under 8 hours is not as easy as you believe – there are many weapons to unlock, towers to free, and objectives to complete. So, how do you beat Halo Infinite in under 8 hours?
How to Beat Halo Infinite in Under 8 Hours (Solo Campaign)
As you might guess, the Halo Infinite campaign is not designed to last less than 8 hours. Besides, it has a lot of things to do because the game is considered to be a “semi-open world.”
This means that if you want to complete Halo Infinite in under 8 hours, you need to follow these tips.
1. Load a New Campaign Mode in Easy Difficulty
This might be a little boring for some, but if you really want to achieve the Forza Veloce achievement, our best recommendation is that you start the campaign with easy difficulty.
Don’t get us wrong, you are probably perfectly capable of beating every boss in the campaign on Heroic or Legendary. But we want to speed up, not prove our skills, so choose Easy and activate some skulls that benefit you if needed!
2. Avoid Collectibles and Exploration
You don’t need to pick up every collectible you find – that’s something meant for more thorough campaign plays. Instead, ignore all secondary missions, outposts, towers, skin beacons, and more.
Just go from point A to point B on the main missions, and that will do the trick. Try to speed up as much as you can – we know that getting distracted from the beauty of Zeta Halo is quite easy, but you need to focus!
3. Level Up the Grappleshot to the Max
During the campaign of the game, you can find some Spartan Cores shattered all over the Ring. Although you don’t need to focus on these cores (because exploration is forbidden!), you will need just a few of them to improve your Grapple Shot to the third level.
This will allow you to grapple around quite easily, which will make you move faster. Since the campaign would be in Easy difficulty, this is the only upgrade you will need.
The cooldown of a level 3 Grapple Shot is amazingly short, so believe us – you will need this upgrade to complete the missions in under 8 hours.
Gaming Summary: Halo Infinite Complete Campaign in Under 8 Hours
Halo Infinite is not actually meant to be completed in under 8 hours, but since there is a sweet achievement if you do so, then it is time to perform this milestone!
If you follow these quick tips, beating the campaign in under 8 hours will be easy peasy.
